In the upper portion of the door, slightly above the boy's head, was the beautiful carving of an eye. Just beneath the eye was a round, black iron knocker. The boy ran his hand over the smooth curved lines of the eye and admired its craftsmanship. He wondered what was behind the door.
Not my quote. Unfortunately, I don't know where my teacher got it from, but she asked us to do a journal entry on it.
<3blue and orange. Did this for an art class. It was a free-draw, so I chose to illustrate a journal we were given. I have no idea where the text that inspired it came from. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
